Well at least now I know. Oh well, I tried. I gave it my best shot. At least now I know I can post all my pics, even the ones I did not submit.
See, I was confident, and still got rejected. Not sure if I'll try again, but I will keep the pics forever for posterity. Not to mention they are on my lap top, LOL. I don't feel too bad, I mean rejection is rejection. I'll survive. I still love myself, and will not take it too personally- they do get thousands of apps each week. All I can do is pick myself up- dust myself off, and walk away with my dignity still intact.
I still love the site, still love the girls, and will still continue to be a part of this. If the 3 months passes and I still have the urge, then I'll try again. But i certainly will not cry, or change my point of view of myself. I still love me, and still think I am beautiful.
I posted some of my rejected set- feedback would be great- even if its harsh- I can take it!
Will write more tomorrow.

There are obvious reasons why this was rejected though. And nothing that can't be fixed.
First, the lighting and picture quality (ie: focus) is not at all up to SG standards. Get yourself a good photographer and that will be fixed.
Secondly, the background and set is, well, not conducive to an SG set. The setting is very cluttered and takes away from the most important part of the set, YOU. Also, while I think it is a great idea, whatever background that is between the poles (plastic? I can't tell) is reflecting light really bad and is extremely distracting. Again, this can easily be fixed just by shooting in a different location.
The rule of thumb to follow with these sets is: if something is distracting the viewer from looking at you, then you have to take it out of the set or figure out a different way to use it. You should be the focus of the set and nothing should distract from you. Think simple. Nobody should even be more focused on looking at a prop or a background than they are looking at you.
All of the problems with this set can be fixed easily. The hardest part is just finding a good photographer. Once you get that, then you should be set.
I want to thank you for not being bitter, too many girls get sooooo mad that their sets get rejected. If you do try again, I wish you luck, if not, don't feel bad about it, it was a very good try.
