Lazy Saturday mornings, my favorite day of the week! No work, all play, relaxation, no telephones. I turn my phone off until 1PM, so I am not bothered on the only day I get to sleep in (not that I do!) I am up at the crack of dawn everyday anyway- but at least on Saturdays I can just lay around and watch whatever horrible Saturday morning movies are on. This morning I am watching "Off the Map" we bought this movie when it first came out, but my hectic life rarely allows me to just sit & watch all the movies that my man buys. He visits the store EVERY Tuesday on release day- we have more DVD's than I know what to do with! Our friends call us their Blockbuster, LOL. I have a spreadsheet that I created so we can keep track of what we own. I keep a separate sheet for our friends to sign them out, like a library. Of course it's been a few weeks since I updated the actual list- I am about 25 movies behind- gotta catch up otherwise it'll get out of control & I'll have to start the list over (cuz there are THAT many movies) on the list now, without this recent update are 890. Pathetic. If you do the math its sad- we have only a handful that we have watched more than 1x. Jimi burns them now- so our friends can keep the copies.... so we are the only dummies wasting money! he he.Not me, Jimi- he's the spender- on DVD's anyway. I am more of a handbag & shoes spender- Coach bags actually.

I LOVE Coach. I have so many Coach bags w/matching shoes, and I LOVE them! They're the only material items I really obsess over- everything else I can do without. I do not know what it is about Coach, I know there are many more designers out there, LV, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, and soooo many more- I am just rteally partial to Coach.

I recently won a Christian Dior bag (from a radio station!) and the bag is very nice, but I'm still partial to Coach. The Dior bag I won came with a $250 gift card- yeah, that was an awesome week for me! I NEVER won anything like that before, it was fun! One of the local Manchester radio stations had this "Pick Your Purse" contest, they had an online "Purse Boutique" that you pick purses from, each purse would have a "Pink" gift card inside (pink for the Susan K. Breast Cancer Fund), the gift cards had amounts ranging from $50-$500, it ran for 2 months (I think) maybe a little less, anyway, every morning M-F, at 7:00AM they would announce what time for that day they would be calling a name. If they called your name you would have 10 minutes to call in. I listened every single day- I missed a few, and was upset, cuz if they call you and you miss it- they call another name. But they never go back and say who didn't call in- so I had no clue if my name had been called. Apparently it had NOT been called any of the times I missed it, ha ha.

One Friday I went outside of my office for a walk after lunch, not realizing they were calling names at that time. When I got back in, I heard the tail end of them saying the 1st caller did NOT call back & they were calling the next name- well, the 2nd name they called for that day........ME!!!! I heard my name & freaked out, started screaming & hollering, and called the station & they had me go online & pick out the bag I wanted. Unfortunately it was Friday- so there were not many bags left (oh, yeah, each week they would refill the boutique, Monday mornings they'd put up 8 new handbags to choose from. But the unpicked ones from the week before would remain up, So on Friday's there were only a few to pick from) I picked the most expensive 1- a small Christian Dior bag- but because it was so small, it contained a larger amount inside (at least it appeared to work that way, the larger bags had smaller amounts the smaller bag had larger amounts). So- the bag is $395.00, and a $250 gift card- whoohoo!!! I was psyched!, I NEVER won anything from a radio station, ever!

anyway- back to Saturday morning relaxing. .I'll be back on later- I am sure. All my girls are all still lit up- but no accepted/rejected email yet!! I wait.... wait....wait....some more!!! My fingers hurt from being crossed for this many days! They rec'd my pkg. Tuesday, and lit the girls on Wednesday. I am filled with anticipation! Nervous, excited. My emotions are running wild, happiness mixed with nervousness. I want to be. I know I can. I am. I want it soooo bad!!! I am so psyched about my sets, they came out so good- now I just hope SG thinks they are good! It was fun to do- even if I am rejected, I had a blast- and will continue to have pics taken, if only to have them to look back on when I am old, decrepit, wrinkled and knocking on Heavens door. I like the fact that I love how I look in them! It was fun, and now I have gorgeous pictures of myself to have forever! I'll write again tomorrow!! I LOVE to blog!
