You're very welcome on the crit for your set. You should definitely try again. There are very few SG's that got accepted on their first set. Let alone ones that have yet to have a set rejected. It's all part of the game.

So what was the summons all about? Did you get that taken care of? That does sound scary.

You actually did really well playing for the camera. You do look comfortable and like you are having fun. That's really important.

There are obvious reasons why this was rejected though. And nothing that can't be fixed.

First, the lighting and picture quality (ie: focus) is not at all up to SG standards. Get yourself a good photographer and that will be fixed.

Secondly, the background and set is, well, not conducive to an SG set. The setting is very cluttered and takes away from the most important part of the set, YOU. Also, while I think it is a great idea, whatever background that is between the poles (plastic? I can't tell) is reflecting light really bad and is extremely distracting. Again, this can easily be fixed just by shooting in a different location.

The rule of thumb to follow with these sets is: if something is distracting the viewer from looking at you, then you have to take it out of the set or figure out a different way to use it. You should be the focus of the set and nothing should distract from you. Think simple. Nobody should even be more focused on looking at a prop or a background than they are looking at you.

All of the problems with this set can be fixed easily. The hardest part is just finding a good photographer. Once you get that, then you should be set.

I think you're beautiful, for what it's worth, and you should definitely mind what Angeluca said, that's great feedback.

I want to thank you for not being bitter, too many girls get sooooo mad that their sets get rejected. If you do try again, I wish you luck, if not, don't feel bad about it, it was a very good try.

You want my opinion? That little bitch had it comin' maybe that'll teach him. And no I don't believe in managing my anger, I believe in letting it out somehow as soon as I start feeling it. That's as stupid as "illness administration" or "gradual acceptance of physical pain"
