Man, the end of another too short holiday on Whidbey Island. I love it here. The boyfriend and I got here on Friday with friends in tow, and had a great weekend partying, eating, drinking and just being downright merry. Everyone left on Sunday and we've been the laziest people on the planet since then...Felt great 
I guess now it's back to reality and looking for employment. Pretty much have just about $63 to my name, awesome. Going to see about getting unemployment tomorrow...it's a long shot but I have to try, no? What I wouldn't give to have the summer off! So many holidays and family functions, and while I need a damn job, I know when I get one, time off won't be coming very soon. Ah well, sacrifices.
Also starting this week will be my diet. I lost 14lbs, which was awesome, but then with all the freaking friend and family gatherings and such, it got harder and harder to stick to, so I kind of fell off the wagon there for a bit. I'm just glad that I haven't actually gained any of the weight back. 15lbs more to go, and I'm giving myself the deadline of September, totally doable. Ahhh vanity
And in AWESOME news, Clutch will be coming to town in July
! Totally stoked for that PLUS I've talked the BFF into going to the PDX show as well. She's pretty stoked for it and is buying my ticket for that show so I'm all over it. Can't wait, I need a couple nights to rock out.
Well, looks like I should pack the computer up and start loading the car. Gotta catch that ferry home! Only thing that sucks here is the internet connection. Waiting for pages to load is like watching paint dry.
