So week three of my Atkins induction finished on Monday, and like most people I've spoken to on the Atkins Diet Bulletin Board, I didn't lose ANY weight at all in the third week. A bit of a post Induction stall (although I'm technically sticking to the Induction phase (i.e. Acceptable foods only and limited to 20 grams of carbs a day) until I reach my goal weight.
Anyways, I had a feeling one of the reasons I stalled in Week Three was because I wasn't drinking nearly enough water. So the last two days I've been guzzling it down like a mad woman, and what do you know! Down another 1kg this morning! That's a total loss of 8kg/18lbs in just over three weeks. I'm SO proud. :}
I'm planning on joining Les Mills (gym) in the next couple of weeks too and starting a regular exercise regime. In fact, I'm planning to actually go one step further than that and enlist the help of a Personal Trainer to start training for a Body Sculpting competition. Eeep! :o
In other news, we move out of our apartment this weekend. Our lease is up and we didn't really want to renew it, but then we haven't been able to find something else! So my brother is going back to my parents and will probably look for something without us, Dennis is also going home (he has to, his grandfather is dying and he needs to save money to go visit him in Fiji before he passes away), and I'm going to crash with some friends in J'Ville until Dennis gets back from Fiji and we can find something together again.
Phew!
Last day of my undergraduate degree on Thursday!
First day of my Masters on the 1st of March!
My 22nd birthday on the 6th of March!

Congrat's on your weight loss! I've got a couple of saddle bags I'm trying to get rid of at the moment. Atkins worked wonders for me when I was on it. Unfortunately I'm feeling 'starving student syndrome' and haven't had money to stock up on chicken and steak (my 2 favorite proteins
). I have, however, been upping my exercise - mainly cardio, but I've also been doing the exercises in Self magazine's Challenge 2004. Ahhh good stuff +o) Are you in the health and fitness group?
