im officially in a rather splending mood. the past few days have been pretty good. its been the week of vinyl. i got my misfits earth AD/wolfsblood and die die my darling, along with 2 45's... AFI's leaving song part II on green and black swirled vinyl and HIM's funeral of hearts part III. the HIM single is pretty rad because the sleeve is black velvet. plus, i just checked my email and won samhain - november coming fire 1st pressing. so that has made me pretty happy. i also ordered my HIM tickets for the 25th of aprl in chicago, ive been waiting so long for them to come to america, ive been a fan for about 4 years and im afraid that as soon as i see them on stage, im going to first scream like a girl, then piss myself, then faint. it should be all worth it though. i spent some time at my grandmas tonight since i was in the area, thought id drop off a book about the black dahlia for her, and she started asking me if i knew about this raver from 10 years ago from the area who became a murder, and mentioned something about angel wings, so i was a wee bit confused, then i got thinking... raves and angel wings.... and it turns out the killer so happened to be none other than Michael Alig, it clicked with me since id seen party monster not too long ago. turns out he used to live 30 mins from where i live, and graduated in 1984 at penn high school, and i know some people who went to school there because they go to the same college as me. pretty crazy that he is from my area and i never knew it. its kinda cool though, because i think i might go on a quest and find some non-traditional student at my college that knew him. so i know now that if i ever need to right a paper, i have the perfect topic, because my college library keeps all the local papers and has them bound, and since he is from the area, there will be a shit load of info. lucky me though, im not taking any writing classes right now. im pretty happy im done with classes for the week too. ive got some movies lined up to watch, plus i think im going to do some reading and drawing. i might even blow some more money on cd's this week because ive been on a johnny thunders binge the last few days, and i wouldnt mind owning some of the heartbreakers stuff with richard hell.

I've got those records you mentioned up above, but have yet to find a decent copy of Unholy Passion on vinyl. For some reason, that one is hard as hell to get.
