Well it was a long, mostly pointless venture into northern Alberta, and soon I'll get to do it again. It really feels that most of my time in the Army is spent as a trainig dummy for a bunch of officers. Not that it was a total loss. I have to say that I do really enjoy my job when I'm doing what I'm trained to do.
I've got 6 days off now. I'm going to go to Winnipeg to see if I can get back in touch with the world. This might sound strange but it's eerily quiet with explosions and gunfire going on all around you. I hope some good shows will cure me of that problem.
