Yay coffee on a Friday afternoon at the Gladstone. How I heart p-dale. Even though technically the 'stone isn't in what many consider to be the hood, I still consider it p-dale territory.
I kinda like it too.. it's in between the Cadillac and Drake in terms of yuppy-factor. And the karaoke there is legendary to say the least. I never thought I would be saying this, but it's actually kinda nice in the daytime. A cool idea to make it a cafe during the day.
Anyway -- I think it would be a great idea if it became a sort-of office. Or any of the cool places to just hang out in around town. I'm kinda getting sick of the situation at work -- well a lot of people are. A few of us have been meeting up outside of work and talking about starting our own little thing. Something small, boutique, and easy to manage.
And it still seems like a good idea to us all. We started talking about it a little more seriously today at the Gladstone over coffee (or in my case, irish coffee). It was good and makes me happy. Something to look forward to, ya know?
Anyway -- time for some din-din.
I need something fun to do for my b-day party next weekend. We're gonna go with a white-trash theme. We might get a limo. And we might show up at some snooty club with vip access for fun. But we need somewhere cool to go after. Someone suggested Panic @ Zen. Any other ideas from the Torontonian SGers?
