It was a little weird... but I think everything is okay.
It's tenuous, but we've been through a lot. This could just be another challenge to strengthen us. Or it could be a precipace (sp?). We can never tell and that is life I guess.
I also had the opportunity to attend a little "meeting of minds" at a friend's place this evening. I've never been to her flat before, so it was neat... she has quite the nice apartment. The gathering was interesting -- if vague. I think she had expectations.
Anyway, the idea was that she wanted to put together an event. That was about all that came out of it. The discussion of the idea came in spurts and mostly involved somone playing music, art, and a whole slew of ideas about sponsors or charities et al. In all, I don't think anything was decided except that it will happen next year, the venue might be this old converted church (which is now an art studio / performance venue), and that possibly myself and a few other people that were there are probably expected to perform.
Wether or not I'll have a band by then probably won't matter. I think this will be more of a venue for my avante-garde experiments in generative music... impromptu code music to be exact. I am experimenting with programming music on-the-fly. And by programming I mean literally in the computer language sense.
Hopefully I'll be good enough and have a rig by then.
Anyway, that's my update. Hope you've all been behaving yourselves.

id be up for hearing this avant garde music....there are really too many tests to strengthen in this lifetime....frustrating...but still worth it in the end regardless.
