I tend to work for a lot of companies that need you to sign an NDA - (Non Disclosure Agreement)
While this is all well and good, they usually want to run a background check as well. These are the kinds of things where the employer will pay an Agency (Usually HireRight) to go and double check everything you've said about yourself so far, as well as make sure you dont have an insane criminal background, you're really who you say you are, your SSN checks out, etc...
Including today, I've had four of these background checks run on me for various jobs.
While I'm always happy to get the job in question, I must admit I'm always just a bit (perhaps irrationally) disappointed that nothing ever shows up.
It just seems to me that you probably havent experienced life quite enough yet if your background check comes back squeaky clean.
