What a great fucking day! Started off with an excursion to the Tucson Comic-Con which has grown dramatically over the past couple years. Very exciting stuff. Didn't buy anything but that's because I didn't expect much and was surprised when I got there.

Afterward, Chris and I went to Tempe to see a pretty intimate A Perfect Circle show that delivered on sooo many levels. Each night they have been performing an album in it's entirety and tonight was "Emotive", which was cool because tonight was the first night they have ever played the songs live since they never toured after that albums release! The only thing that blew ass was waiting for them to go onstage for 90 minutes listening to terrible showtunes ("Oh, What A Beautiful Morning" play like 7 fucking times) and watching a dildo guitar tech walk back and forth on stage acting like he was working, despite the fact that the band has been playing there the past 2 nights. I know what it takes to "look busy" and this guy was total FAIL at it. Once the show started all my annoyance was totally gone. Until some jackass started a fight during "Peace, Love and Understanding". Oh, the irony. Regardless he was ejected and the rest of the show was totally positive and fun! Quite a fantastic day with unexpected surprises throughout, but I am ready for sleep now....
