Just got back from Terminator: Salvation and I've got to say I really enjoyed it. I went into it hopeful but cautious and felt very satisfied after it was all over. I know there will be many that walk into the theater with their mind already made up before the film starts just to bitch later, but I say give it a chance. It's really a decent flick. Better than 1 or 2 (there was a third? )? No. However this film is a different beast all together and shouldn't really be compared. This film has no time travel or inferior technology to play with and has a different theme as to whether or not we are really any better than machines and worth saving.
Sam Worthington was fantastic and now I am even more excited to see him in James Cameron's Avatar. About the only area in the film that was a bit awkward is a place that I figured the infamous topless scene with Moon Bloodgood belonged. The film just seems to jump in weather (literally) and pace. Guess we'll have to wait for DVD.
Now onto the really good stuff. There were a couple of Easter Eggs in the film. I'll spoiler them so if you want to be completely surprised you will be. Some have to do with things that have been on the net, however I'll keep major plot twists out.

Yeah a lot of my friends didn't care for it either.

Weak sauce indeed! To top it off a friend had an extra ticket to the NIN/JA show that was three hours away. I should of just called into work and gone.
