This is new and weird and I don't like it yet.
The college I went to for undergrad had a student body of 750. We all lived on campus. We had free internet and cable in our rooms. We had no choice but to take all our meals on campus (that is to say, we could go out, but the was no dining-plan option besides full on three meals a day). It was all very insular.
So, apparently they have a wireless network at the library. This is good if I don't want to wait two hours to use a computer that I'm going to be kicked off of two hours later. At least half of what I have to read for my classes is only accesible online, so computer access is sort of neccesary. More than two hours at a time.
The wireless network only works if I'm sitting about two feet from the computer lab. There are no outlets two feet from the computer lab.
This is a problem.
I don't know how I'm going to fix it. Getting our own place is going to help, but that's at least a couple weeks off.
To summarize, I'm feeling kind of spikey right now.
