Ok so life is full of curve balls. Some come in over the plate others just well they come in
So on the good news front I lost 6 pounbds since my last weigh in 2 weeks ago. 28.4 for the year. Under 300 for the first time in forever. 296.4
On the other side of the coin. I went to Newfoundland for work for a few days. INCREDIBLE place beautiful yet desolate flat yet mountanous. So on the flight there I am sitting next to a guy hacking his brains out. And the Gm of the customer I am working with has a cold so 2 days later... Yep Eryck has a cold.
No biggie. So curve ball was this:
On the flight back I had to get up at 4:00 am Newfie time ( thats 2:30 AM for us EST folks ) to make it to the airport. We get airborne and ( I really love Westjet btw ) 45 minutes later I am dozing lightly at 35,000 feet when I wake up with NASTY chest pains. I break into a sweat, feel like I am dying. Short of breath heart is skipping. 10 minutes of that. 12 years as a paramedic I was about to write myself off. Then it lets up and 15 minutes later I am asleep feeling like I just worked out.
I land in Toronto and drive back to Buffalo. Call my doc. They are closed so they can move into a new building. An on-call doc calls me back. Go to the urgent care clinic right away. I cross the border and guess what... they open at 3:00. It is 11:30 now. So I wait. I go do a site inspection for work and wait more. I finally get in as they open and some nurse calls me in and tells me "we cannot see you" I am told they cannot even examine me... good thing I was not dying. So another call to the on call doc and I go to an ER. Gonna cost me huge bucks and I know not much more then going in. It WAS my heart, it was NOT a heart attack, to learn more get more tests.
Ugh
wtf....
