what holidays?
I spent my holidays at work, trying to make some extra cash.....
ended up working far more than my body could handle... now I have the flu.
it won't leave me.
oh ya...
my fridge packed it in a few weeks ago.... and today..... the furnace died.
so I'm sitting here... with the chills, in my house that's 16 degrees warn (and I use that term loosely) while I wait for the repair man to show up late this afternoon.
*sigh*
we got nuked with freezing rain and ice fog the other day... I had to go to work even though I was sick because I was covering for a guy who wasn't in town to work his shift....
anywhoo, a smaller RJ (regional jet) slid off the runway, we had aircraft frozen in the ice everywhere.... 2 boeing 777's were diverted to us even though we don't have the facilities or manpower to service them... it was mayhem.
thankfully, I was responsible for pushing all the aircraft off the gate for the first 4 hours.
lots of very cool pilots out there.... those guys are for the most part pretty humble, because they know that we get paid crap to do the job we do... but we do it because we love it.
I hope my new years eve goes better than the run up to it.
thankfully my wing man hooked up with a cute azn girl.... he didn't answer his phone when I just called, so hopefully he's still rockin out with his socks out.
lol
