erroneous

I work in a digital video editing lab. For the most part I deal with kids who have no idea what they are doing. There are two theories as to why this is:

1) Their teachers are incompetent.

2) They are jerking off while in class, miss the instruction then expect me to do their work for them.

I make minimum wage here. I listened to my instructors. I could jack off on a miniDV tape and have more content then your shitty project. I don't need your shit. Sure my attitude sounds bad but here are the conciderations:

Someone is paying for your education and you are throwing it in the garbage. You can tell whose Daddies are paying tuition. They don't give a fuck. They feel that they deserve to have someone else do their work since daddy paid for their grade. Those of us who are footing our own bill are pissed that you are hindering our ability to get our monies worth.

PC's suck. When someone without a general knowledge of a program tries to fumble their way through a project, clicking here, deleting there, they ultimately crash a high priority program like Avid. They beg me for help and when I have to reboot and they loose the last ten minutes of work (because they are not saving after each step as I have instructed them) they act as if I ruined their lives. I understand the frustration in losing work, I learned the hard way, but you must take responsibility for your own actions.

This relates directly to why the rest of the world (excluding Japan) hates Americans. We believe we are owed everything and should be provided it by the less fortunate.
