So 2011 is over. I must say I am a little bittersweet about it. There were good parts and bad, but I am ready for an action packed 2012. I only see good things to come in this year. I will be buying my house with Pezmaster. I will be graduating school with a Master's in Adult Education. I will finally be able to start teaching. WOOT!
I bet you are wondering what I did last night at this point right? Well, I got all dressed up to go hang out with some friends and get drunk. The get together was fun. Here is a picture of me dressed up to celebrate.
While hanging with my friends, we decided to be traditional and watch "Rocking New Years Eve" hosted now by Ryan Seacrest instead of the wonderful Dick Clark. Dick Clark did make an appearance, but that was not my favorite part of the show. I became extremely amused with the performance of Will I Am from the Blacked Eyed Peas. Did anyone else think he resembled Sho Nuff from Berry Gordon's "The Last Dragon"? This just cracked me up. Here is a picture comparison. What do you think?
This is what Will I Am looked like.
Here is his twin Sho Nuff from "The Last Dragon." He is the guy in the red leather. I am cracking up as I post this.
Other highlights of the show was watching the very delicious Robin Thicke perform. That was delightful.
We ended up getting back home around 4:30 am and ended the night pretty quickly. I am pretty optimistic about the year to come. Unfortunately, it must start tomorrow with a trip to Charleston, WV for various doctors appointments as part of my usual routine for the beginning of every month. This time I will be discussing my diabetes with my doctor. I have been having a hard time keeping it at a normal level. It has been staying extremely low most of the day, hovering around 50-60 and anyone with diabetes knows this a dangerous blood sugar level to have and could result in me going into a diabetic coma. Ultimately, I figure my doctor will put me back on diabetic medication instead of trying to deal with the illness strictly by diet. This is just what I need. Another pill to take during the day. *NOTE THE SARCASM HERE." Also, I am having a CT Scan of my spine done to see how bad the arthritis has gotten and just how severe the deterioration of my discs are becoming. Wish me luck! I really do not need any bad news with the big move coming up in February.
Speaking of the big move, thanks to some great friends we have gotten a few things to furnish the house with. We are still however, dealing with the bare minimum. If anyone is interested, Pezmaster and I have made a wishlist of things that we need for the house. Check it out here:
Housewarming Wishlist
Also, we are having a small fundraiser for monetary donations to help us get things in place. If you are interested, then you can donate securely through PayPal at the following link:

At this point, Pezmaster are not being picky. We will take anything we can get at this point. I have been selling all my valuables on Ebay hoping to help pay for things, but so far that isn't proving to be very beneficial.
In other news, my Avon business is booming. I am working toward a promotion to Advanced Unit Leader. I am still trying to grow my team as well. If by chance there are any of you out there who would like to become a part of my wonderful direct selling team, then you can sign up online at the following link:

For just ten dollars you can start your own business and have me as a wonderful mentor. If you decided to join, you can quit at any time and are under no obligation to continue. When you get to the site provided enter the reference code: virginiamtucker to make sure you are added specifically to my wonderful team. I would love to have you along with me.
Wow, this turned out to be a pretty epic blog. I am saying goodbye to 2011 and welcoming 2012. I like to think of my life having a soundtrack. If I were to choose one song to represent my 2011, then it would be "September" by Daughtry. I will leave you with the song to enjoy. Since I will be leaving for Charleston tomorrow, I will not be posting any blogs for about a week. Do not fret however, I will keep in contact with everyone and reading blogs.
Until later...Much Love ,
Jen
