EDITOR'S NOTE: First, I would like to apologize for the delay in this posting. I have been extremely busy this past week, but I promise reading the blog with be worth it. I am going to update you on all things medical, give a review of the movie "The Green Lantern," give an update on my recent publishing endeavor, as well as discuss other random happenings in my life during the past few weeks. I must warn you, though. It is going to be quite lengthy. Due to its length, I am not going to include translations. I hope this isn't a problem.

I must first start off by saying that this blog is going to be quite lengthy. I have a lot to discuss to catch all of you up with all the happenings in my life recently. Perhaps the first thing I will discuss is the most simplest to cover and that is all the medical developments that have occurred during the past week.
Many of you were familiar with the fact that I recently contacted "The National Cerebral Palsy Foundation," with the hope of finding a specialist who could treat some recent health issued that had develop due to my disability. Basically, my right hip was rotating inward and had so some much that is it now touching my left leg when I stand. In addition, my knees are automatically going into a bending position upon standing or bearing any weight on them. Both of these issues are causing me to be in extreme pain and until recently I could not find anyone willing to treat an adult with Cerebral Palsy. However, after contacting "The National Cerebral Palsy Foundation," I was immediately connected to a specialist who is a leader researcher for the Easter Seals Foundation. To all of you who are familiar with Easter Seals they are a charitable organization that provides health services to people that they would not normally be able to afford. Also this organization, is a pioneer in the research community when it comes to many birth defects, including Cerebral Palsy.
After contacting Easter Seals and explaining my problem finding a doctor they sent me to a physiatrist named Dr. Ellen Kitts. This made me extremely excited. Finally, I would get some answers. Of course, as usual these answers would not be obtained without both confusion and difficulty. The first problem I encountered was getting an actual appointment with this specialist. Due to the fact that she is the only one in West Virginia at the moment, appointments in her office are currently on a waiting list. When I first contacted the office, I was told that I would not be able to be seen by Dr. Kitts until late June or early July. Keep in mind I contacted the office originally in the beginning of May. Also, I was informed that I needed to get a referral from my family physician in order to been seen. I thought this would be easy, but I was wrong.
I contacted my family physician concerning the referral at the beginning of May right after I was told to do so. My doctor assured me that he would send the referral immediately and that it was important that I get all medical records from every doctor I had seen since birth for treatment regarding my Cerebral Palsy sent to Dr. Kitts. So just as before, I did as I was told. Medical records from each doctor were faxed to the office of Dr. Kitts that week. Did I get the referral and then get placed on the waiting list? No. Instead, on Monday of last week I was contacted by the office of Dr. Kitts and informed that they had received everything they needed from me to make an appointment except for the referral from my family physician. This infuriated me. Due to him not doing his job, I was informed that now the only openings available for new patients would be in late September and that was if he sent the referral within the week. So once again, I contacted my family physician and finally he sent the referral. Sadly, I now had to wait until late September.
I was so upset that I cried most of Monday and Tuesday. However, on Tuesday a miracle happened. I received a call from the office of Dr. Kitts. They had gotten a cancellation for Thursday of that week, which was June 23rd. The cancellation was even more exciting because Dr. Kitts would be seeing patients in Parkersburg, West Virginia that day. Her actual office is located in Wheeling, West Virginia, but four times a year she travels to Parkersburg to see patients there. So naturally, I immediately took the appointment without thinking. In most cases, I am a completely logical thinking individual who plans everything that I do. However, this time all logic was ignored and my excitement about seeing the specialist sooner than late September had gotten the best of me. It was only after I hung up the phone and calmed down, that I realized I now had two problems to solve. The first problem had to do with scheduling. For weeks, I had known that I was supposed to have an endoscope on Thursday in Charleston, West Virginia. In preparation for this appointment I had to stop certain medications and avoid alcoholic beverages. This led me to be in additional pain during these weeks and now it appeared it was all for nothing. Logically, I knew seeing the Cerebral Palsy specialist was more important, so I decided to reschedule the endoscope. Ultimately, it was a good thing that I did. I later found out that I was supposed to be sedated for this procedure. For some reason, the doctor who was going to do the endoscope was unaware that I used a Morphine patch for pain. Anyone with a brain knows that Morphine slows down the nervous system and oftentimes slows a persons breathing. If another medication used for sedation was mixed with the Morphine that was a huge possibility that I could stop breathing completely resulting in death. So in the end both I and the doctor performing the endoscope were glad that I had chosen to reschedule. Hooray, there is no chance of me dying due to medical negligence now!
The second problem that had arisen due to my scheduling the appointment with Dr. Kitts without thinking surrounded transportation. Kenny, my boyfriend, would have to drive me to the appointment. He did not mind this at and was in fact thrilled that we had to only go 3 hours away from home to Parkersburg now, instead of almost 5 hours to Wheeling. However, our Jeep is piece of shit and only gets 13.4 miles to the gallon on a good day. So we had some concerns over whether we would have money to afford gas to get to Parkersburg and back. The appointment was in between Kenny's payday. He was supposed to get paid on Friday, which was the day after the appointment. So we basically had to take what little money we had left from the previous week and pray that it got us to our destination and back home. You would be glad to know that it did and that I have some wonderful news from Dr. Kitts, who I now refer to as my angel!
During the appointment with Dr. Kitts, she brought several things to my attention that I was unaware of previously. First, she noticed that my left leg was turning toward the right from the knee down toward the right leg. This is opposite leg and hip that had prompted me to seek medical attention. Also, she noted that I may possibly have a height difference between my right and left leg. I was completely shocked by these revelations, but she assured me that it was nothing to worry about at the moment. Her main concern was figuring out why my right hip was turning and to alleviate the pain it was causing me. So she ordered a series of X-rays for me to have done as soon as can. Once she is able to see what is causing the hip to turn, then she can provide further treatment. Until then, she suggested that I try Botox injections.
These injections would serve two purposes. The first would be to alleviate most of the tightness in my muscles. She recommended that I try the injections in both my hips and groin areas. This would allow my muscles to relax and give me a little more flexibility. With this increased flexibility, it was hoped that I would be able to be more mobile than I am currently. As of right now, I am pretty much laying on a couch 24 hours a day. When I do get up, I either rely on the wheelchair when going out of the house or have Kenny carry me places that are inside of the house. So I was more than thrilled to think I might get some mobility back! Also, I would feel less guilty about Kenny having to carry me so much. I know he does it because he loves me and I appreciate his help immensely, but he has lower back pain due to lifting his grandfather for seven years previously to meeting me. I knew that carrying me was only aggravating this back pain, but he refused to make me suffer. Instead he hurt, so I did not have to. If that isn't love, then what is? I am so lucky to have him in my life.
The second purpose of the Botox injections would be pain management. If my muscles were more relaxed, then I would have less muscle contractions, which are the usual cause of my pain. Currently, I have muscle spasms all day long. The intensity of these spasms and their duration depended on a variety of factors. Sometimes, I am completely unaware they are occurring because I am so used to having them. At other times, I cry for hours because they are so painful. So it just depends on the day and how much activity I do throughout the course of said day. Yes, the Morphine and other pain medications I am subscribed help ease this pain, but it does not alleviate completely. I was completely thrilled and amazed at the notion that a mere injection could alleviate some of the intense pain I experience on a regular basis. I guess I will go with the flow and do as they say, "Do not knock it, until you try it!"
I had been researching the use of Botox for alleviating spastic muscles in Cerebral Palsy patients for years. I was under the assumption that this method of treatment was not available in the United States. I had only heard of it being done in Europe and Canada. Dr. Kitts however, pleasantly informed me that this treatment had become pretty common within the United States around 5 years ago. I was completely shocked at this revelation. She also educated me more on the treatment. The effectiveness of these shots varies for each individual receiving them. Typically, there effects last anywhere from 2-4 months. Also, I was told that this was not a permanent solution to my pain and spastic muscles. As far as Dr. Kitts, has experienced, these shots become less effective the longer they are used. She currently has a 20 year old patient who had been receiving the Botox injections for quite some time. He recently stopped after completing his 15th injection. As with every medication, everyone is affected by it differently. So I may be able to benefit from more than 15 injections or perhaps even less than that. It will just have to be a trial and error process for the time being. I was instructed by Dr. Kitts to go home and find a neurologist closer to my home in Ansted, West Virginia who would be willing to give the injections. It was important that I find a neurologist as soon as possible due to my insurance. Sadly, I am on West Virginia disability insurance, or Medicaid. With Medicaid, newer treatments or those that are considered extreme require authorization before they will pay for it. Personally, I think this is stupid. If a person needs a treatment, then they should be able to get it. Sadly, however the health care system in the United States sucks and oftentimes a person sitting behind a desk that has no idea who you are or what you are going through decides whether or not you deserve a requested treatment. This is the most frustrating thing to me about being disabled. However, today I found a neurologist in Beckley, West Virginia who was more than glad to assist me. All that was requested by his office was that I have the office of Dr. Kitts fax over to him a referral sheet and a copy of the prescription for the Botox injections. Both of these things were needed to both establish me as a patient and to start the process of getting Medicaid to approve the treatment. It could take weeks, but I am keeping a positive attitude concerning it. Knowing that the office of Dr. Kitts immediately faxed the information to the neurologist earlier this morning made me even more confident that this is actually going to occur. I might be able to function somewhat normally for a while. This is more exciting that I could possibly, put into words.
Dr. Kitts also gave me a second treatment option as a possibility. She said that this could be used in conjunction with the Botox injections or done alone. This alternative was to be fitted and ultimately wear a hip brace. I was given two types of braces to consider.
The first resembles the one that was worn by Forrest Gump in the movie. The only difference is that this brace is designed based off of the technology of today. In the medical community it is referred to as a "Reciprocating Gait Orthosis" or "RGO." I think this brace is the better option for me and my lifestyle. It is easy to put on and is worn over my clothes. I would slip my feet into some boot like shoes that are connected to metal that goes up my legs and connects to an apparatus that wraps around my torso. The brace allows the legs to be locked straight or released to allow a bending motion. It can be wore all day long is usually chosen by patients because it not only correctly positions the feet, legs, and hips, but it also allows mobility. The only downfall to the brace is that it is bulky and ugly. At this point, I wouldn't mind it drawing attention to me or making me hot. If it increases my mobility, then I am more than satisfied. If it causes negative attention to be drawn to me, then that isn't a problem either. I am used to being teased and stared at. It will be nothing new. I would rather people ask me questions that treat me as if I were an oddity. The strange thing is that it is not children that act in such an idiotic manner, but adults. I would rather educate someone about my condition, than for them to be confused, scared, or uneducated about such things. This only leads to them treating others with disrespect.
I found a picture of the brace wear someday. The brace basically looks like this:
The second brace I am not really going to discuss in detail. It is something that I am not really interested in and do not think it will be something I will use to benefit my quality of life. Just so that you have an idea as to what it is like, it is basically a brace that is connected to your ass and it has hinges that allow your legs to come together when you stand and then spread apart when you sit. In medical terms it is called a "Swash Hip Brace." Apparently, this is the normal movement most people naturally are able to do, where I am not. I have really never paid much attention to what others legs do when they sit and stand to be quite honest.
I also found a picture of this brace. I like to think of it however, as more of a contraption. This is what it looks like:
Other than treatment methods, Dr. Kitts assured Kenny and me that my hip was in no danger of dislocating or breaking like we had originally thought. She also gave us permission to be sexually active with the hip rotated. She just suggested that we try alternative positions instead of rely on more traditional methods. This entire conversation embarrassed Kenny, but Dr. Kitts made it quite comfortable to discuss. She even joked with us by saying that unless he was throwing me around or trying to wrap my legs around my head, then we would have no difficulty having a healthy sexual relationship. We were both glad to hear this. We had not been intimate since the hip issue started occurring. We were afraid I would get hurt and neither of wanted that. Now, however, we are happy knowing that our sex life doesn't have to be affected by my disability.
Alright, that is enough boring talk about medical stuff. Let's discuss some things a little more exciting like my book and awesome movies that are in the theaters currently.
First, I wanted to thank all of you for your support of my newly published poetry book. I am also thrilled at the support I was given by all of you to help me obtain a customized fan page on Facebook. Even though helping get this URL was not a contest, it was one person who actually made it a reality for me. To those of you who are a bit confused, I needed 25 fans on my author page on Facebook before the company would give me a custom URL without paying for it. Thanks to Kevin023, I now have a personalized URL to advertise my book on Facebook. My site can now be found now at the following URL address:
Jen's Author Fan Page on Facebook
So thank you, Kevin023 you were the 25th fan! I owe my site to you. As for the rest of you, I appreciate greatly all of the support. I posted a preview of one on the poems featured in the book on the fan site. Check it out if you have some spare time. I am hoping that by giving a sneak peek, more people would be willing to buy the book. I know that I would not want to buy something I knew nothing about. Hopefully, such advertising techniques will revenue some sells or just one purchase of the book, for that matter!
Upon reading an excerpt from my book, if you so choose to purchase a copy, then I will make the process a little simpler for all of you. I will include a link to where it can be purchased directly from the publishing site. Currently, this is the only place to purchase the book. Without bringing in any revenue from it, I have been unable to market it elsewhere, but for the time being the publishing site will work just fine in my opinion. Currently, I am only selling the book directly from the publishing site. Once I get some more cash I plan on distributing the book to other markets such as Amazon and Kindle. Yes, I said Kindle. I can convert the book to a digital copy. Until then, you can purchase the book here:

Now that the book issue is covered, it is time for to bring out my inner geek. I would like to express my excitement over all the movies that are premiering currently in theaters and will continue to do so throughout the summer. The first movie to peak my interest was "The Green Hornet." I had yet to see it, but I have heard it was fantastic. Not to mention, I am a great fan of Seth Rogen. So unless they deviate a lot from the original storyline, which happens a lot when a show, comic, or book is converted to the big screen, then it should be worth seeing. I simply didn't have the extra cash to see it when it was theaters. So now, I have to wait until it is released on DVD. It won't be too long so I am alright with waiting. Secondly, was the release of "Thor." I have yet to see it as well. Cash flow was also the problem when this one was in theaters. I am hearing mixed reviews on this one. Some loved it. While others say, it was nothing like it was supposed to be and the fact that the actor who played "Thor" was not really Norwegian made a lot of hardcore fans upset! It is there claim that this movie was so popular due to special effects and the actors being attractive. I have no opinion yet. As with "The Green Hornet," I must wait until it hits DVD. I must wait until it hits DVD.
From my track record as of current, I am not representing the geek community well. I have however, an attempt to regain my nerd status. I actually went and seen the theatrical version of "The Green Lantern." I was extremely excited about this film, so much in fact, that I and several of my fellow geeks went to the midnight premiere of the movie. I can and will give you my take on the film. I must tell you however, I will not give away of the plot. There are some people out there who haven't seen it yet, or have absolutely no clue what the story is about. Therefore, I will just give my take on what was both positive and negative about the comic being made into a film. In addition to viewing "The Green Lantern" in theaters, I also went to the midnight premiere of the final Transformers movie. After reviewing "The Green Lantern," I will say a few words regarding that film as well. I have been going to the movies like crazy lately.
Since it was the first film I viewed, I will discuss my opinions regarding "The Green Lantern" first. I think most importantly, I would just say that I absolutely loved the theatrical version of "The Green Lantern." It was by far one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. At least out of the movies that have been based on comic books, it has been one of the best. There are several positive things that I can mention about the film. Therefore, I will point out all the good things about the film first. Who knows I may actually help someone decide if they think it is worth seeing or not. I know myself and many of my friends were unsure about the idea of the film at first, but after seeing it, I am definitely not disappointed with my decision.
In my personal opinion, I think the absolute part of "The Green Lantern" was the 3D special effects. In fact, the special effects were insanely awesome. It is almost impossible to put into words how great they were. However, I will admit they did go a bit overboard with it at some points. This resulted in me removing my 3D glasses, as well as my regular glasses, to rub my eyes for a few seconds. From experiencing this movie in 3D, I learn something very important. People who wear transition lenses in their glasses, such as me, really will have trouble watching any 3D movies. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what "transition" lenses are, they are simply lenses that adjust to changes in light. I have to wear them due to my Cerebral Palsy. My eyes are permanently dilated and anyone who has had their eyes dilated at the eye doctor knows that bright lights make your eyes hurt when they are like that. Basically, my transition lenses were having trouble adjusting to all the changes in light in the movie, which ultimately gave me a headache. The sacrifice was worth it and overall I thought the whole experience was great.
Another positive factor of this film was the cast. Of course, many of you already are aware of my love for Ryan Reynolds. I think he did an excellent job as Hal Jordan. I do not think they could have picked a better actor for the role. Also newcomer Blake Lively did an excellent job as his leading lady. Although, I have heard recently in the tabloids that her current boyfriend, Leonardo DiCaprio, is becoming quite jealous of all the media attention and time she is spending with her leading man, Ryan Reynolds. I hope to see Blake in other movies in the near future. Let me tell you, she is one sexy woman in a pair of glasses. I happen to think glasses make all women sexy, in fact, and Blake Lively just further proved this to be true.
Overall, the special effects and the choice of cast are the only positive things to note regarding the film. These two things alone are reason enough to view this movie, even if you are unfamiliar with the storyline or the comic it has originated from.
With that said however, I am a little disappointed that they special effects were used with such intensity. Although great, I think it is possible to have too much of a good thing. The same idea pertains to the 3D footage throughout the film. To be quite honest, I think it was slightly overkill. Sadly, this is becoming common in action/adventure these days. Movies in my opinion should rely more on plot than anything else in my opinion. This argument leads me to point out negative aspects about the film.
The first and most important complaint concerns the plot of the movie. For those of you who have read "The Green Lantern" comics and seen the movie you definitely know what I am referring to. Those of you who have yet to see the movie, but are avid fans of the comic, you are going to be slightly disappointed, just as I was, along with several of my geek friends.
To not give away any of the movie for those who have yet to see it, I will try my best to keep my comments general as to not give away any important plot points. The story surrounding how the lanterns came to be and obtained their powers was completely butchered. I suppose this was done to both simplify the film for time constraints as well as not confuse those viewers who had previously no knowledge of the story. Also, toward the end of the film the character, Sinestro, obtains the yellow ring in a completely different fashion than was portrayed in the comics. Obtaining the yellow ring will eventually turn Sinestro into a power mongrel and some may even go as far to make some believe he is in fact a "villain." By Sinestro obtaining the yellow ring at the end of the movie of course sets the scenario in a way that it becomes obvious that this will not be the only "The Green Lantern" movie made for theaters. It is going to become like Pirates of the Caribbean. It was intended to be one film and it became so popular that it will lead to three to four sequels. I must say, this is a brilliant technique on the part of the director of the film and his production team. Think about it, people. The more movies made in the series, the more profit is made. This is achieved in two ways. The first is, many people will become fans of the movie and eagerly anticipate the next film in the series. These individuals will be talking about it for months to years before its theatrical release. They will also be the first people in line at the theater for a special midnight premiere. In rare cases, these same individuals will want something to curb their fix for the movie, so will start reading the comics. An increase in comic book sells is obviously a great way to increase revenue for the franchise. Ah, there I said the magic word, "franchise."
You see, when a movie is released, the company expects a set number of profit to be made from it. In some cases, movies produced become big hits and generate lots of money to the company. In rare cases, these same films will become a pop culture phenomenon, such as known see with the current hit, "The Twilight Saga." When this occurs, then other things related to movie can be produced to generate even more profit. For example, action figures, clothing, cereals, costumes, and books. With the profit of the film already a big success, these products will make the profit skyrocket. Such an occurrence, therefore, makes the company consider the film to be worth all the time, material, and money that it cost to make and ultimately lead them to consider making a second film. With each new film produced the cycle begins all over again, until people lost interest and no more money is made.
Alright, that is enough of business/finance lecture for today. Now, I need to continue telling you what made me hate the film. Yes, there was something that made me hate the film for a moment, even though I considered it to be quite an awesome movie. What could make me so sick to my stomach, you ask? Well the answer to that question is quite simple. There was an extreme usage of computer generation, or "CG, " as it is known in the film industry. Now do not get wrong, the use of advanced technologies such a computer generation can be very beneficial in the movie making business. It saves the production company money by requiring fewer props for the film. The props or sets can just be placed into the film with the use of a green screen. Locations within the film can also be created by using a green screen. This saves even more money for the film company because the will not have to shoot at various locations therefore, keeping traveling at a minimum and as well all are quite familiar traveling anywhere these days can be quite pricey. We are not even talking about just gas in a vehicle here, we must also take into account airplane travel, hotel stays, and dining for all those working on the film. I surely wouldn't want to pick up that tab. However, to rely on computer generation to this extent really made the film appear fake and at some points even unbelievable. Take for example, the character of Hal Jordan. His character wears a tight green suit with a small mask that covers his eyes. This is pretty much the typical attire for a super hero, but without the cape. That is one of the ways we identified our super heroes as children. As adults we tend to focus more on their powers or special abilities. For this film, actor Ryan Reynolds never even wore a costume. It was all added in later by computer generation. This just completely outraged me. What could does it do to portray a superhero of some sort if you won't even fit the part. We all know that Ryan Reynolds is in great shape and has the body for it. There was no need to use "CG" for his suit to make him appear to be in shape or strong. The man clear has abs of steel. I would have much rather seen him in a real suit. I think that simply two things could have led to this. Either, Ryan Reynolds did not want to work all day wearing the hot suit, or the production company did not want to fork over the cash to have a custom one made. Regardless, the whole idea of the costume not really being a costume, but an illusion really ticked me off.
In the end however, I was pleased with the film. There are some things I would have done differently if I made the film, but I didn't, so I am just left to complain. I am excited on the other hand, that they ended the film in such a way that there will be sequels. I feel this way even after seeing the story portrayed differently than it is in the comic. I came to the conclusion as I left the theater that night, "Not all things in life can be perfect like we want them to be. There are times in life that we must accept imperfections and or at least try to think positively about them."
After seeing "The Green Lantern," I was extremely excited about watching the next installment of the "Transformers" saga. I grew up watching the original animated series and even some of the spin offs. I had toys from the cartoon and even for a brief point in time thought that Optimus Prime was my hero. As a female, I am not at least one bit embarrassed to admit such a thing. Optimus is one bad ass robot and if the world was ever in danger, then I would want him to be there to help save it.
Prior to meeting my boyfriend, Pezmaster, I had never seen any of the "Transformer" movies. Are you shocked? Are you surprised? If so, then I can explain why. I have a deep hatred for a couple of actors who were in the film. This alone made me have no interest in the films. However, I am glad that Pezmaster persuaded me to watch the first two in the series. Despite their hideous casts, the movies were phenomenal.
To put it simply, I hate the fact that they chose Shia LaBeouf as the leading man. He just seems wimpy and whiny to me and quite frankly I cannot stand to watch any movie he is in. :vomit: He just reminds me of all the other Nickelodeon child stars that are lucky enough to have a break and get to be real actors until after puberty. Yes, there is a hint of sarcasm there. I mean yes, the guy is somewhat attractive, but do I believe he has any real acting ability. No, I do not. Also, I hold a deep hatred for the adorned Megan Fox. I am not sure what it is about that girl, but she just seems like someone that would annoy the hell out of me in real life. The way she portrays herself on television is that she is the most talent, gorgeous woman on the planet. I will admit that I do take a fancy to admiring a beautiful woman now and again, but when it comes to her, I do not see beauty. I see someone who is spoiled, conceited, and living in a dream world. I think there are numerous ladies here on Suicide Girls that are far more attractive than Miss Megan Fox could ever dare to be. Not to mention, all the girls I know on here are far more humble and do not parade around gloating about their looks. To be quite honest, I find it more common than not that many Suicide Girls and hopefuls alike, think they are unworthy of the admiration they receive in this community. Personally, I think they are just crazy. All of the girls here are not only beautiful, but they possess the most wonderful personalities, which make them even more attractive. As they say however, "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder." So I will not be offended if I get some hateful comments regarding my dislike of Megan Fox.
However, I will point out something I feel quite bad about regarding my feelings toward Megan Fox. Several of my friends and I used to joke about her weird looking thumbs. It was all harmless joking, but it is never a good thing to make fun of someone. I should know, I am disabled myself and have experienced some awful teasing and comments. Recently, I found out that her thumbs appear the way they do because she has a genetic defect that caused her hands not to form right during pregnancy. After hearing this, I wanted to beat myself for joking about it. The poor girl has no control of the way her hands look, no more than I do over how my legs do. So I will take a moment to apologize to Megan Fox. However, her disability does not make me like her. I still think she has a snobby and ugly persona.
Enough rambling about why I did not originally want to watch the "Transformers" saga. By now, I am sure you want to know if the newest installment was worth paying to go see. I will say "Fuck yeah, it is!" The movie itself was awesome. So awesome in fact, that I have contemplated going to see it again with people who haven't had a chance to yet. The special effects were amazing. The change in cast was also a great thing. To all of you who are unfamiliar with the film, Miss Megan Fox was replaced due to having a negative attitude toward some of the production company and was therefore removed from the film. Thank you, Steven Spielberg for helping director Michael Bay for making that ultimate decision. The actress she was replaced with used to be a Victoria Secrets model and forgive me for not knowing her name at the moment, but she was absolutely gorgeous. Also, actor Patrick Dempsey became part of the cast. I will not give any of the plot away, but I must say he was quite sexy in the role he portrayed. I think I am still drooling over him as I write this.
As I stated previously, I highly recommend this film. However, as I also said before, nothing is perfect. There were two things that I disliked about the film. First, as with "The Green Lantern," the plot deviated from the originated animated series just slightly. This is understandable considering how extensive the storyline of "Transformers" is as well as its many spinoffs. This leads me to my second complaint. This third film will be the last. According to both director Michael Bay and actor Shia LaBeouf, they are finished with the project. So sadly, there will be no more "Transformers" movies unless someone else makes them. They ended the movie in a good way. Although, it my opinion was slightly open-ended. Perhaps someone else is considering doing more of them? I do not know to be honest. All us fans can do is sit back and watch the first three films over and over until a decision is made regarding the fate of the saga.
On that note, I have now written a novel. I am sure a few of you have nodded off to sleep while reading this. With that said, I will tie this up. You should now be updated on all that has been happening in the world of Jen. After all, I haven't blogged in almost a month and many of you know I tend to do a blog at least every other day, if not daily. However, between health issues, potty training my stepson, Brandon, promoting my poetry book, and living life in general, I simply had not had more than five minutes to set down to think. I have actually been really stressed as of recent. I think this stress level will decrease once Pezmaster and I find our own place. More importantly, we are having trouble saving money for our own place. Until then I am trying to adapt to being in a house of eight people, over 20 cats, and one dog. Oh, I would just love a bedroom, then life would be perfect. I am easy to please.
For all of those who are interested in helping me reach this goal I have included a special link. The link is to a savings fund I have set up to help Pezmaster and I able to rent a place of our own. We will see what happens. As they say, "When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade." I hope to make lots of lemonade soon!
Helping Jen Get an Accessible Home of Her Own
I must first start off by saying that this blog is going to be quite lengthy.

Good luck with your botox. My dad used it non-cosmetically as well with some success.
