Here we go again !
I always loved the hospital. since I was young I wanted to be a doctor. With years, I've been Osteopath. Almost the same... but not really.
But I never left my first love:
I often go to the emergency and different departments for many little trauma. Nothing very serious but I had some fractures, luxations and sprains.
The most important were:
Broken arm's bones when I was 9 years old. I fell from a trapeze because I wanted to show to friends how I was brave... LOL. I was brave but I suffered to be brave! I had surgery and a beautiful big plaster for 2 very long months. But it didn't prevent me to not enjoy my holiday in Norway (luckily it wasn't a hot country!)
I dislocated my shoulder 3 years ago. I was riding a racehorse and we was jumping some fences when the horse kicked violently. I fell in front of him and my shoulder took all the collision's power. It resets itself quickly but the pain was so big.
With horses I fell many times like every equestrians. The horse walked on me twice when I fell in front of him. Luckily nothing serious happened, only big bruises.
I suffered many and many sprains. Ankles, wrists, cervicals... And last sunday I had my first motorbike accident. I was with my brother and a car crashed into us. Fortunately it didn't go fast and my brother and I are ok. "Thank" to that, I came back to emergency when I feel like home once again! I discovered Nantes' hospital for the first time and it is a good one among all the ones I visited ^^ The hospitalisation was fast, the place was clean and doctors and nurses were so gentle (and physically great ^^). I have nothing broken but my right foot hurts so much 'cause the bike crushed my feet on the floor when we fell. I have to wear a big shoe to relieve my feet and I have some difficulties to walk but it should disappear with time. I hope so !
(I loved the atmosphere with the big red neon above emergency's entrance)
