My boy (see below) is so rad.

Look how cute he is. Last night we went out with my friends and he told it the way it is. "Men are lovers, and women are perpetually dissatisfied with men, and try to change them. Women don't want a perfect man, they want one who is almost perfect so they have a project to work on."

"Men start a relationship saying, 'you're perfect, I love you'... and years/months later still think the same thing. Women start a relationship thinking, 'you're perfect, I love you' and six months later will be saying, 'you'd be absolutely perfect if only you'd....' and then once the man changes to be how the woman wants, she will find something else to work on. That is why good guys have a hard time with the ladies. She won't date him if he's already perfect, because then what will she have to feel self-satisfied about?"

He also said women don't change easily because we are stubborn. And that's ok, because men are here to serve women, simply because there is no other way. Women won't have it, because we are stubborn.

So I thought about that and said, "Well then, that's a good point. Women want to be needed, we want to help you..."

To which he replied, "But that's the thing women won't understand. Without women, men are perfect. We don't need women to tell us how to be better. We are just fine with being just how we are."

So then. Why do men need women? Why do men put up with this tyranny?

"Because you guys are cute, and adorable, and we love to make you happy."

Today he woke me up to my Christmas presents. Perfectly suited for me, every one. Now i have an indoor jungle! Also i smell and look delicious.
