I've put on weight! Can you tell?
Look at those chubby cheeks. As soon as I get to portland I'm signing up for yoga and quitting beer. *sigh* No nonsense.
We've got the place now, and I'm wondering what in the hell i am going to do about decorating. The place has new carpet and wallpaper so I can't really justify ripping it out or anything, but... I hate it! Light pink carpet and tan diamond weirdo wallpaper with white trim. What to do! The house is really great though if it weren't so damn tacky with the floral wallpaper and chandeliers. It's so clean and has super high ceilings, and the downstairs is a separate apartment with its own kitchen and everything. It's tucked away in a neighborhood minutes from downtown with only 3 other houses anywhere near, less than a block from 6 different bus lines, there is a huge groomed yard with roses, a covered porch and a shed... I'm so excited, and yet so bummed about the damn wallpaper. Really disappointing. I might have to just say fuck it and rip it down, if I can imagine living there for over a year it would be worth it. I am unnecessarily worried about decorating this place for some reason. I really want it to be perfect for me. Any ideas?
Mike is going to build me a talll platform bed so I can put my desk underneath, and so I can sleep up high.
I'm stressed. Moving in just a few days, with lots of projects to finish before I go.
Sad things to bum you out: My cousin was diagnosed with MS.
DebraJean lost her sweet kitty.
Etc. etc.
Goodnight everybody.
