I did a foolish thing and made a myspace for my photography. I think it's doing the opposite of what I was hoping and just discouraging me. Crap.

You're a tard! You need to find some more inspiration, the positive stuff. You can tell you're good at what you do because your pictures are distinct. That's what separates you from other photographers. I'm proud of you.
