so on tuesday my roommate and i bought day passes for the public trans. here in LA and decided we were going to head downtown.
we are downtown walking around, little tokyo, pershing square, and then we end up on skid row. it just sucks to see the way some people live, out of shopping carts, sleeping on cardboard pieces, and knowing that this is the same city with million dollar houses. we saw a few drug deals, a few cars tried to pick us up.
we end up lost on the busses, but still end up having a great time.
Then we find THE ALLEY which is where they sell all the fake purses, wallets, dvds, cds, anything your heart desires.
food they had there: hot dogs wrapped in bacon, corn slathered in mayonaise, cheese, and margarine (sp?). and lots of warm creamy drinks. interesting.
towards the end we end up back in pershing square reading our books, surrounded by the huge buildings, fun times. i heart los angeles, no matter how dirty it is here.
so the guy i'm seeing is back in town, after being in new york for a month, but he's leaving for san francisco tomorrow.
i'm getting quite sick of it, i think. i dunno i'm confused
i'm going to pretend i'm asleep now so that my roommate will stop asking me for help with her spanish homework. i'm too tired to think in a different language.

All towns that are good and bad have that alley. It's always fun. I wish I could have spent more time in LA.
Hey have fun with the prodigal boy in town.
P.S. De que origen eres? Yo solamente soy medio mexicano, pero nadie es perfecto.
