Ah to be home, so finally being back home in Toronto is a nice thing. Access to little things like a car and places that actually have things is such a godsend.
Before heading home I did get a few things started before leaving. I went and looked around for places that have meditation classes simply because I need less stress and anxiety during the school year and it seems like a very good method to use, both to meet some new people and because anti-anxiety drugs have fucked me up. I also went to bud's music store to see about the costs of renting a guitar and to get some lessons along with it because I can't just learn from a book on the basics, its not how I learn. The next day I also got to see Drag Me To Hell with two friends and it was hilarious and great, it is simply exactly what I expected it to be: a cheesy blend of comedy and horror/grossout. Afterwards I went and watched Coraline with my neighbour (bubbers) and his girlfriend (lady bubbers) and the next day I got up very early to head home.
My time back is already going well, one of the things on my list of accomplishments is to get the last part of my G license so I've been going some places with the mother. Got some new clothes from west49/boathouse and got a good deal on some cds (alexisonfire = 12, and propagandhi = 11) and I still need to get some more books (pygmy by Palahnuik and pride and prejudice and zombies). Next week still leaves some places I need to go to find some other items I need and afterwards to go back to peterborough for a friend's birthday and then possibly to brantford for another friend's birthday. Then afterwards I got a pile of concerts lined up (summer slaughter, eagles of death metal, 10 for 10, and thrash and burn).
Tomorrow is probably a nice quiet day, and since I polished off the first of the true blood books today, I gotta pick out my next read.

I'm SOOoo jealous you're seeing Eagles of Death Metal! I'll be missing it, but I'll be in Arizona which will also be rad. I even had to sell 16th row Incubus tickets because of my trip! It's bittersweet.
