devious_photos is coming to Maine to shoot a couple of sets with me on Tuesday, I'm so excited, I can't wait. I just put up a model mayhem profile to try and network with more photographers. I'm really motivated to start building a portfolio, I really want to go somewhere with my life and I think modeling can be a good opportunity for me to break out into other mediums. I'm willing to work with just about anyone as long as I get copies of my pictures, but eventually I want to start modeling for pay as well. I want to start publishing zines again soon, I haven't put one out in over a year and I feel a hole in my heart where my writing used to be. I love putting out zines because it gets those angry words and pictures out of my head and onto paper. Sometimes I wish I had kept copies of my old ones, but on the other hand I'm trying to get that shit out, so theres no real reason to hold onto stale memories. I also want to get back into doing art shows. I had afew pieces up in an art show about a month ago to support an lgbt candidate who was running for city council. I need to get my ass in gear in general and start creating more. I think being on this site is an excellent opportunity for me to get my voice and my face out there.
Anyways... Joel (my fiance) won't stop playing fallout 3. I want to play, dammit. We haven't fucked once since he got that game. DAMN YOU XBOX 360!!!!! I need to get off!!!
I just bought the Silent Hill omnibus and ZVR by Ryall Wood. comics make me squee. I can't get enough. pretty soon I'll have to put in a new bookshelf just for my comic books. so far I have the entire sandman series, plus the Death books, Walking dead 1 thru 8, Marvel Zombies 1 &2 & MZ vs. AOD, the entire JTHM series, and way more shit than I can list off the top of my head. I never used to like comic books but Joel bought me a collection of 'Fables' and since then I've been totally hooked.
Also, my sea monkeys hatched last night, YAY!!!!!
