i spent the last 2 weks without work, sure i'm broke, but i made the best of it, hit the beach, the mountains and the bottle. Now its back to the maddening similarity of daily routine, work is slow right now so its a bunch of pointless projects without any payoff. i've been trying to get the boss to invest in some technology, bring a little sparkle into the relatively drab world of museum design, but alas, blowing a couple thousand is not an option when there is no bidness to be had. in the meantime, i'm tracking down suppliers, repairing models, picking out carpets and paints, all pretty stale stuff. The part that worries me is that the boss make sall the creative decisions and i think he has an outmoded design sense. I like the job description and i like the work we do, it's just i don't think he has the fanciful child mentality that may be required to "touch" these corporate boards we pitch to.
all right that was pretty dry
