I am swimming in one (maybe two) relays this weekend because there are only 4 women from my "team" who are here at this meet.

This means I am swimming with
-a world record holder
-another world record holder, and one of the top 10 in the country
-a woman who will be in the Olympics this summer.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?

just so you all know, i am serious about swimming, but i am one of the slowest at this meet. it's a fast meet, but i'm still slow. these guys i'm swimming with--their 200s are faster than my 100s. we're doing it for "fun" and to get points for the team.
