i'll answer everybody from yesterday after the concert tonight. before i crash-nap for an hour, i wanted to post my results.
50 fly: seeded for 0:53, raced :47.53
(silver)
100 breast: seeded for 1:37, raced at 1:32.87
(silver)
50 breast: seeded for 0:45, raced at :41.58
(gold)
50 free: seeded for 0:42, raced at 40.01
(no medal, 6th place)
100 IM: seeded at 1:42, raced at 1:36.62
(bronze)
quickly: medals are for the first 3 (gold, silver, bronze) in each gender and age gruop. so i was the fastest 50 breaststroker from 30-34 at the meet today. however, there were never more than 3 people in my events (except the 50 free, and look what happened there). so i was in the slower heats for these races, but i kicked my own ass, and it felt fucking awesome to go all out. it had been my first meet since 1994.
all i wanted was to be able to start off the blocks (which i did), i never expected to drop that much time. off i go to nap and then to concert and then to pass the fuck out
