Hi friends.
Life is hectic, but good. I posted some pictures. I hesitate to even call them an attempt at a set, because they're not. But they'll stay as long as the feedback is positive. :0) Please take a peek.
Yesterday I went on a day trip to San Jose to see Bodyworlds. It's an anatomy exhibit with real "plastinated" cadavers. It's the third time I've seen it, and for someone who studies the body and anatomy nonstop and plans on making a living with it, it's a treat to see such perfect dissection.
Last saturday I went to the Norcal Renn Faire at Casa De Fruita (Gilroy). Now that was great. I keep telling people, if they think dressing up for faires is nerdy and silly, well..... they obviously don't appreciate good cleavage. I even attempted to curl my hair.
See the Curls?
On a darker note, I want to mention an old friend. This is in memory of Leah Tadeo. Seven years later, her killer (one of San Diego's top ten fugitives) has finally been arrested. It gives me hope to know that they didn't give up looking for him. Hopefully justice will reign.
I can't believe that it's already been that many years. I can remember being a "brownie" with her as a kid and her beautiful smile in high school.
I've found that at funerals, we pour our hearts out one-on-one with the deceased without holding back. It might be our fathers, mothers, close friends, or relatives that passed away, and as we stand over the casket, in private with just the two of you, the words flow freely from the heart as you say out loud everything you loved about them and the positive impact they had in your life. You tear up and cry as you express how much they meant to you, because you know that no matter how loud you say it, how honest you might be, that they can't hear you any more... and I can't help wonder what the world would be like if we were that honest with each other while we were still alive. Forgave each other for all the mistakes that we made, told each other how much we care, how much we love, thanked our parents more, hugged our friends more.

I'm incredibly late posting on this, but that Bodyworlds exhibit was waaaaay cool. It came through here a couple of years back and I went on the last weekend to see it. The crowds were crazy, but it was absolutely fascinating. I regret not going sooner, because I would've gone back to see a few times like you did. Cool stuff.
