there was an andy warhol exhibit at the laura russo gallery, i caught the last day of it yesterday. being the staunch cynic that i am, i expected his work to be over rated. you know, you see his prints and they are nothing special... but the actually paintings bring out such raw emotion. i left the gallery feeling high. awesome. if anybody has the chance to check out some of his original pieces, do it.
goldfinger played at barracuda last night. a six dollar show in a night club... with goldfinger. i have to say, it was tons of fun. they aren't the best band, but there is a lot to be said for stage presence. you know? the ability to get a crowd pumped. i had a blast... even though one of the balls was ripped out of one of my surface piercings. ha. that seems to happen quite a lot. meh.
