A new beginning

I took the first step,
I'm no longer afraid.
The pain is still here but it is less
less and less every day.
The love is still here but it is less

The hole in my heart is still bleeding
slowly; ever so slowly it is being filled.

My name is hope and I say this,

My name is despair and I say this,

My name is truth and you cannot find me,
I hide from your eyes.

I choose my way and forgot despair,
I found hope when I was looking for truth.
This is my new beginning;
this is how I will not be hollow.

My world ended with a bang,
and will start with a whimper.
