Hello lovelies! I am in the works of building my first PC! All of the finally piece come in today which means I'll be spending tonight slowly deconstructing my old pc~ I was planning on streaming my build tomorrow (1/21) on Twitch @ 3pm PST !

Several people have said they wished they could keep their older PC software configuration for working instead of continually being forced to upgrade to the latest thing for online security. Which I think is a valid point. If a programme does what you want the way you like, why change it? Therefore, if your old set up is the way you like things, I advise keeping it exactly as it is and disconnecting it from the Internet. You can also uninstall your virus scanner and adware blocker. Then keep your new machine up to date and use it for all your online activity.

Very cool! I did this about 20 years ago when I first got into IT. Lost all my tech skills, though, as I've been a PM for about 10 years~
