damn, this week just flew by. before i can talk about it i must fill you in on the weekend that preceded it. so i went down to yale to visit my best buddy, evan, while carrie was spending the week at her home for her grandmother's birthday.
we got to his house to find a huge house party that spilled out into the street. we got our drink on and our smoke on. and then he pulled out his new hooka. a 3 foot, ice cooled beast. so we pack it up with 2 grams of delicious nugget and a bit of tabac to help it burn (i was aganst this but it's his hooka).
anyway, it's a nice little toy. so much smoking and music listening ensued. evan's choice is usually some crappy pop rap, but luckly john, the hand in the next picture, has better sense, and in fact introduced me to some great hip hop and djs that i didn't know, my favorite being ghostface killa and ratatat.
unfortunately, i was too drunk and forgot to burn his music. next day a grat friend of ours from highschool, rachel--very cool girl, came up, and we did the whole yale tour thing that gets evan so hot. i was actually really awe-struck by the rare book library. i saw two copies of the guttenberg bible (the first book ever printed). actually my favorite thing in the school is the tiny sculptures on all nooks and crannies of the architecture. we then took saki bombs, and i can't tell you much more past that point, frankly because it becomes pretty hazy...

the part of me that wants to drive aggressively, go much faster than the speedlimit, and wind seamlessly through traffic knows that game is only for when i'm clearheaded."
That is 100% me. Two days ago I had to drive to Columbus from my home town, and my friend Jared happened to be making the same trip with his car. WE FLEW. The drive easily became the best part of my day.
I miss sending you notes - sorry I haven't been online much lately, it's summer, you know? I've been working, taking classes and trying to get my head screwed on straight (or as close to straight that it can be, heh)
Take it easy. Yale sounds amazing - so does Saki - thanks for just giving me an idea for this evening's beverage of choice
