k i'm in my new place, but all my shit is still in boxes (or garbage bags rather). it's pretty nice, two bedroom appartment with a little balcony and a dishwasher and garbage disposal in the sink (key). unfortuately, none of my paintings fit up the stairs into my apartment or down the stairs into the storage area. i'm still working on that one. i'm gonna hang my hammock today and install some blinds in the kitchen, doesn't that sound nice? biggrin

I hear ya on the paintings, i dont know how i am going yo get some of my art out of my aprt. when i do move.

Woah, you're like the second person so far that has moved! I'm jealous though, 'cos you get a garbage disposal in addition to a dishwasher! I think it's been forever since I've lived in a modern house with new amenities. Our new place will be ready mid-June. Living room is full of boxes in varied states. Sucks about the paintings...what happens when you take canvas off of the frame? Does it screw up the piece? My mother-in-law is an artist as well, she makes her own paper and does print and sculpture... She stores her pieces in her car, which can't be too good for them, but she has nowhere else for them!

Side note: My friend Michelle and I befriended this punk Japanese new kid in high school (in '86!) and he used to say "abuna-e" all the time, which is Japanese for "Dangerous". I thought you might want to know that little tidbit! Anyway, have a lovely Wednesday!
