Well, I guess you could say that today was a good day. A lot of people responded to my comments that I made to them. If you did not get them, that is because either a) you do not have Colorado Springs listed as a location and you are not less than ten miles away from me, or b) you are one of the three or four Colorado Spring's people whose mailer-dameon told me to fuck off!! Anyway, the jist of the message is this: Last night I was having a decent discussion with my friend the Captain (Morgan that is) and got this absolutely great idea. Colorado Springs is an OK city if you took out the majority of the people (i.e. anyone affiliated with Focus on the Family), so I figured, why not just get more cool people in here? We could hold an SG event here, and then hopefully some (like 90%) of the people who came for it would be enthralled with the natural and raw beauty of the place...So the plan isn't flawless, but worst-case scenario, we would still be able to hold an SG event, meet lots of new SG people, and make a lot of very conservative people very uncomfortable. And[\I] I could probably call my friends who work in the media, and get major bad-ass coverage for all of us. Let me know what you think, and until then...
