So I have been cooking since I was 7 years old and enjoy it. This includes baking. Tonight I tried something a little different than what I normally do, made a modified ramen/pho type of fusion I guess you could call it. Took beef broth and added garlic powder, cumin, cracked black pepper, fresh chopped green onions, beef soup bone which also had marrow and meat on it, bay leaves and simmered that for around 3 hours. Took another soup bone and seasoned it with garlic, cumin and toasted sesame seed oil and roasted it for 2 hours. I marinated thin cut bone in pork chops in Worcestershire sauce, ponzu, Korean bbq sauce, apricot white balsamic, garlic, cumin, cracked black pepper for 3 hours. When I finished roasting the one soup bone I removed the marrow and added it to the beef broth. I added noodles to the broth at this time also. Heated a skillet with toasted sesame seed oil and cooked 2 thin pork chops at the same time. I added the noodles and broth to a bowl with the sliced up soup bone meat and sliced pork chops and added the top part of the green onions to it. Had a side of spicy kimchi with it.
