Being lost in your mind can never really be a good thing. Today has been rough but I move forward. Remembering my father on his birthday, he would have been 66 today. He was the one to discipline me when I got in trouble, steer me in the right direction when I needed help, and also help make me the man I am today. All day long I have been thinking about him and everything he had accomplished. 20 years serving in the US Navy, both sons served in the military. He instilled manners, work ethic, punctuality, and other values into me and my brother. So we remember him for the father he was and raise a glass in remembrance for the man he was.
My first Master Chief and me on my last cruise in the US Navy.
Fair winds and following seas Dad.
Here’s to you Dad.
