endlessly

Well, she called today. Usual stuff from her: "I love you. I miss you." I just don't know if I can believe it anymore, and everybody tells me that I shouldn't. But, it's my decision and I know I'm going to continue to wait for her if for no other reason than I'm crazy apparently. I love her. I know she loves me. But I have no idea what she's thinking or doing. I think I'm going to give myself a bit of space, see if she responds to that. She told me the other day that she's trying to figure things out and asked me to please not make her choose. Well, while she's trying to figure things out I'm falling apart cuz all I can think about is her and all the promises she made me. Why would she ever tell me those things if she didn't mean them? I guess I'm naive. Cast your vote here as to which man you'd like to see survive this debacle: the nice, caring man that I truly am who wants a relationship to come from a wonderful friendship, or, the black-hearted demon that is growing inside me. I'm becoming very bitter and I'm afraid this is going to effect me very negatively.
