endlessly

Had to go to jury duty this morning. Boy did that suck. Sat in this room for two hours listening to the judge go on about how it's our 'civic duty' to do this. I agreed, and I wouldn't have minded doing so, but my new contract is days away and I didn't want to get caught up in anything that I wouldn't be able to complete. So, I got out of my civic obligation. Yay.

Supposed to have my interview with the station commander today, then take my boys (the cats) to their new home, then meet with my tattoo guy later. Busy day.

Oh, this is great, my friend who I'm staying with right now rented "Rumor Has It" last night. When I got back from jury duty today he put it in saying it was kinda funny. Yeah, it's about a girl (with the same name as you-know-who) who is engaged but gets cold feet and through weird circumstances meets some guy who basically sweeps her off her feet. At least I think so, I couldn't watch it. Oh, and the girl's mother in the movie is named Jossie, you-know-who's best friend's name. Too many coincidences for me, and the whole premise just made me sick anyway.

Geez, deploy me already.
