Anyway, so I don't think I'm doing too well on the 'handling of the most horrible loss I've ever experienced' thing. Started drinking around noon today and got a bit drunk actually. So when you're fighting a hangover at 5pm, usually that's when the little voice in your head starts screaming that you are seriously fucking up. The voice in my head has long since given up that battle and merely sat back and told me, "hey, you wanna continue to throw it all away, go right fucking ahead dick."
I know I have to start clawing my way back onto my feet again, but seriously, I'm in a situation where there is almost nothing I can do right now but sit back and wait. My file is lost somewhere between here and Hawaii and until it turns up I really can do nothing but sit back, smoke and drink. I'm not happy about those options (until after the third drink) but it's all I've got for now.
If anyone out there knows of any activities or things I can get into in the meantime that may keep my mind occupied and liver from turning to dust, please let me know. We'd all be greatful.
