"Lay of that whiskey, and let that cocaine be"
I should have listned to Mr. Cash this weekend.
I partied a little to hard friday night, for no good reason, and ended up feeling shitty on sat (big suprise there) It wasn't so bad, but I drank coffee all day, and by night time I was fucked. I watched a movie, then went to bed, then came downstairs and watched another movie, because I was so wired I couldn't sleep, and I could hear my heart and pounding, and It was freaking me out.
I woke up on sunday still feeling jittery, but the day got better. I spent the entire weekend packing. I leave in 2 weeks. I don't know If I'm gonna stay a member. Probably, but I wont have so much time to update or anything,. I will have a website with a travel journal and such. Great fun.
I watched 3 movies this weekend.
High Noon- Allready going to go on my favorite movies list. Fucking great, wonderfull western, wnderfull plot, and I was so cafinated, that when it was coming up to the end, I was going fucking insane from the suspense.
Royal Tennenbaums- I've seen this moviue once before, and loved it then. Rushmore is my all time favorte movie, and this one is right up there. Every detail was pure genius.
Bowling for Columbine- This was a lot better then I thought it would be. I was really impressed with how much it dug below the surface and how effective it was. And funny...
So yeah, 3 good movies...
In other news we are still looking for places to stay all across the US of A. We are also looking for people willing to model shirts for us, as we will continue to sell shirts on ebay to finacne our trip, and will constantly be in need of models for them. We can't offer much at all except a whole lot of appreciation, and we can cook some mean vegan food!
Listening selections of recent:
Smog- "Red Apple Falls" I don't really know what to say to describe it other then that It's great. It's indieish stuff, sorta melllow, but wonderfully low fi, and beautifull.
Syd Barret Era Pink Floyd- Yep, before they were tripping out, and writing huge self indulgent prog epics, they were playing funcked up pop songs.
Listning Suggestion: New Order's "Back To Mine"- not a new order album but a dj mix of their favorite songs, and big influence. Yup, they mix Captain Beefheart, and Velvet underground, and Roxy Music, and Missy Eliot. Yes, it's good!
