When the future looks good, you gotta wear shades. When the future looks criminally gnarly, you gotta wear Spurlock-ish handlebar mustache.



Haggardness aside, credit to where credit is due: thunderless lightning clouds pretty much set the standard of weather excellence for a good long time with their performace today. I capped off yesterday's toil with a sauna to sweat out the many ills and poisons acquired from a lost weekend. It was that or a complete Swedish blood transfusion ala Keith Richards.

Dear Illstabyou. Metallica, old Metallica, is pretty wicked and I'm glad you forced that idea into my brain that night long ago, in a weird bar far, far away. Whenever I want my face melted, I'll ride that lightning.

Shucks for missing the East Coast Camping Trip, but I was in the 'OS-pital, with a severely infected finger. I passed out at work from blinding pain in my joints. Begging to leave, I somehow idled to St. Mary's where they recoiled in slight disgust at my finger (and outrageous politcal views!)

It felt like ex-Journey frontman and 80's sex icon Steve Perry was unleashing full vocal fury in my brain. So, as you can see, it was a beautiful mix of hellish death pain and competent musical panache. Anyway I want it, that's the way I need it.
