so after posting almost a month ago about how i need to post more i finally make it back here to post again....
well i'll use the excuse that it's been a busy few weeks - two Ministry/Revolting Cocks shows, camping (and getting sick), two AFI shows, NIN/Bauhuas concert, taking a friend to Emergancy, a cancelled (at the last minute) FLA show, making my own trip to Emerg, and then catching 30 Seconds to Mars. Wow, looking back at all that, it HAS been a busy few weeks.
i usually go into my concert events over on my myspace blogs so i'll leave that stuff out of here. camping was a weird time. anyone that knows me well, knows i'm not a camper. give me city nightlife anytime over lakes and trees.... i mean, they're nice and all but not my thing. fortunately my buddy's parents own the camping resort where we were and we got a steal on the cabins there (yeah, me and tents? lol not a chance). it's kinda odd being the only straight-edge person spending the weekend around 20 some odd people in various states and forms of inebriation. so being the only sober one, i appointed myself the fire caretaker. well at least it gave me something to do. unfortunately i woke up the second day sick... shook it off for most of the day after i dragged myself out of bed. but on the last day of the weekend (and for the 5 1/2 hour drive home) it hit me hard. worse part was after everything (dropping people off, getting home and unpacking) i had to go to work nightshift. greeeeeat!
i pretty much made a call on person i was hoping things would work with, to stop trying. it's hard putting so much of yourself into something that you're not getting any feed back on. it was like throwing things into a bottomless pit... not even getting an echo of acknowledgement :S
i ended up taking a close friend to the hospital. i'm not too fond of the guy she's with, and with the way things are between them, but i'm not able to do anything about it. the guy's an ass to say the least .
and lastly, i truly found my calling. i'm an emo kid at heart. lol no, no, no, just kidding. but it didn't stop me from cutting my wrist open by accident at work yesterday and sending myself to the hospital for three stitches and a tetnus shot. who's doing all this complianing about wait times in Ontario hospitals? i was in, looked, paperwork filled, stitched up, and out in a hour and a half. set a new work record too - it's usually at least 4 hours before you get back (we get a lot of employees sent there for some reason :p). looks like i'll be okay though, i hit the top of my wrist as opposed to the underside where all the veins are.
wow, that was a long one...
now hopefully i'll keep these more frequent and i can cut down the length for next time

Yeah the hospital here is bad too, the emergency room takes FOREVER. i'm usually ready with my games while i wait. last time i went tho it was fairly quick cuz i had pain in my chest. I cut myself at work once, there were 2 other people from K Mart there tht day, another from my work and another from the other store
You = good guy.
