That is a stellar idea! I've been to that diner once before, and for how small our actual wedding party will be, it fits so well! Thanks! We're going to have a party with cake at some point in the summer - lemme know if you'll be visiting the island so we can send you an invite biggrin

I went to a ladies' night at Tantra last year... I haven't giggled that much in a looooooooooong time tongue Have fun!

I am not a happy Panda. I am not a happy Panda at all. I have a specific routine on Thursdays. I watch Bones at 9 and I PVR Smallville at the same time. Bones was preempted by American Shitty Idol this week, so in my infinite wisdom I decided to watch Smallville on the BIG tv in the living room instead of PVRing it....

Probably not going to do Miss Calgary after all. $250 for an entry fee is better spent on oh...something I need...like pants or school books.

It was a crazy week, that's for sure. Pagz is going to come over on his day off to help me unpack all my star wars gear biggrin

Well folks, it's not even close to that time of year again but I feel it's fair to give you a heads up.

I'll be in the Miss Calgary pageant on Sunday, February 8th, 2009. I would love to have some of you folks out to cheer me on. The only downside is that the tickets last year cost $75 and will cost at least...

Awww, that sounds like so much fun! I should actually be in town for that, I'll do my best to get there to cheer you on!

Saw Twilight tonight for the first time, laughed so hard through it I have to see it again. I love the books (I've only got Breaking Dawn left to read), so the movie was only slightly ridiculous. I give it a B, maybe a B plus.

Did the Sarah Palin thing for Halloween, am now too exhausted to do anything more than lie in bed forever. Stupid delicious ghosty cup'n'cakes.

Turns out I don't have time for student council. Kind of a blow to the ego, but school comes first and I can blow off work for a job where I don't get paid.

Oh! I watched the Lost Boys last night. It totally stands the test of time. I heart the Coreys.

I'm digging school right now. The content is interesting (well some of it, keyboard skill-building is kind of crap). The significant downside, however, is the use of my laptop to take notes has become increasingly difficult lately...seeing as my cord is almost burned through by the wires inside. The only thing keeping it from frying out completely is the electrical tape wrapped around it. I...

If you're looking for a super-cheesy good time (and by good time I mean awful film) then by all means check out The Lost Boys: The Tribe.

I personally dug it because I have a soft spot for Corey Feldman sporting fake neck tatts (well, Corey Feldman at all really) and it was filmed in BC. Other than that...it's pretty bad. I hope Kiefer Sutherland...

I haven't heard about that film, since the trailer got posted onto youtube or something...

Don't really remember the first one... I know there is a comic out for it.

I think I snagged the first issue?

I never really understood how Pagz felt about the Star Wars prequels. Yes they were horrible, but I never understood the wretched pain of having your childhood brutally raped up the arse that he felt when he watched them until now.

I shouldn't have done it, but I couldn't keep myself away. I saw Indiana Jones 4. George Lucas turned my childhood hero into a...

Think I'm gonna avoid Indy then, as hated the Star Wars prequels frown

Def right about David Boreanez in Bones-way more chemistry than he ever had in Angel/Buffy!!

Thanks for the idea, but I figured something out before I received your comment, otherwise I probably would've done it.

Sadly, I am once again unemployed of my own choosing.

I was going to paint for the summer, hoping to make loads of cash so I maybe didn't need to work during school this year, but alas, it turned out to be lame. Me and my guy (who was my painting partner for the summer also) were only supposed to be taking jobs within a...

shitty about the painting job, first time I've heard bad things about it.

NEVER work at superstore, horrible place to work, ugh. it sucks.

ever thought about putting time in with a temp agency? just wear clothes that cover the tattoos?

other then that... if you can handle labour... work at a warehouse... stacked for cash... just need to put in the hours... good for a summer job.

/shrugs/

no big, saw you in sg west, wandered over here... read... commented.

hope things get better.

going to guess it's a student summer kinda deal... if so, what are you taking in school?
