Sometimes I wonder if I can relate to the human race at all. I'm often not sure if I'm a part of it. When I see how humans are, people starting wars, hurting the little defenseless things, innocent people being punished it really upsets me.
When a judge yesterday sentenced Schapelle Corby 20 years to an indonesian prison (in other words a death sentence) for a crime she was set up for, it all just feels so foreign. I don't know how people can be so horrible to another human being. I just see the world sink lower everyday.
It just really saddens me.
Maybe what I've written is really self indulgent or I've some superiority complex I don't know, but I know I am a little angry at the world this moment. Only the Australian and New Zealand readers will probably understand the magnitude of what happened yesterday. Sad world.

Also bare in mind that the prosecuters were pushing for the death sentence, whice is the NORMAL penalty for importing pot, and one which many equally unfortunate people (although perhaps not so white/pretty/western) have been sentenced to. Does it say something about people that they seem to think that a pretty white girl is more deserving of our sympathy then a spotty old dark skinned man?
Just a thought, sorry for being so cynical. People suck. *hug*
