Roadtrip is well & truly underway.
We've been through Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, & tomorrow we're possibly heading south for a bit before returning back up for Ontario. We'll see, our plans change daily.
Our trip so far has been incredible. We've seen so much so far, it's just too much for me to go into right now, at a truck stop near Winnipeg. I just have to say.. this country is amazing. I want to move to the mountains. Banff has been my favourite place so far. I could live there the rest of my life. Absolutely beautiful. The Rockies in general are just unbelievable. We drove for miles alongside them, huge mountains towering above us & I just fell in love. Lake Louise is the most amazing place I have EVER seen. Humbling.
The wildlife as well is something new to me. I'm seeing a lot of unfamiliar animals, nothing like anything I'm used to from the southern hemisphere. And the temperatures ... well, yeh.. also unlike anything I have experienced before. Just freezing. I don't have enough clothes at all for this.
Ok, I'll write more when I can make sense of this experience more. It's all a bit overwhelming so far, in progress. Exhausting & incredible at the same time.

I saw you in the garden group I just joined and thought you may want to check out the Extension Offices there in LV.
There is some pretty good knowledge about the plants and vegetabels and what seasons to plant them there.
Have fun on your road trip!
