Yeh, it's been a while. I thought I'd come back to an empty Friends list. Thanks for patiently keeping me on your lists guys.
I've been frantically organizing stuff at work to make sure I'm not disturbed these holidays. It's strange how there's probably more work involved in arranging a holiday of relaxation than it would've been to stay at work and do everything yourself. I almost felt like putting post-its on every little thing- "if this breaks do this", "if that happens do this", "if she calls tell her this" etc etc. I think I've covered absolutely anything that could happen in my 3 page "random stuff that could happen while Em's away" list for the staff.
Anyway, 3 days to go! Then it's 2 weeks of non-stop indulgence and fun. We're putting the backpacks on and going camping for a few days over xmas at Port Waikato which will be awesome. I haven't seen trees in almost a year. It's been forever since I left Queen St even. I'm craving nature. I've totally lost touch with our earth and I don't like it. Time to go basic, cook dinner under the stars, carry our life-necessities on our backs and breathe in that beautiful crisp air. I can't wait.
..Please don't rain.
After our dose of nature we'll come home to our toys, gadgets and comforts, a full fridge full of treats and soak up some relaxation before another year. There's a pile of unopened toys (we're not allowed to open the toys til holidays start), there's a year's worth of dvds, an insane amount of junkfood (you should've seen the grocery delivery today!), wine and herb and everything we could possibly need for an awesome holiday. We won't have to leave the house if we don't want to
Perfect.
Not much more to report on. Holidays are all I can think of.
Well actually.. GTA Liberty City finally came out on psp a couple of weeks ago. I've also been thinking of that
What a consuming game.
Here's an early xmas present from my lovely friends Cat & Xtian. A 46cm motion activated moving Edward Scissorhands. Beautiful.
