I think I may be looking forward to going home for a week even more now - might be visiting my mate Graeme who I haven't seen in over a year, but who is utterly lovely and probably the funniest person I know.
Which got me thinking, one of my worst traits is that I never really keep in contact with friends (pretty horrible, eh?), when I should. There are so many people back home I'd love to catch up with and have a laugh with about old days, especially the few that I went to Uni in Aberdeen with. I miss 'em.
Yeah, it's a bit of a catch-22 situation, I complain about having naff all mates, but never make the effort. It's not always to do with me being a bit of an introvert, it's to do with me being lazy.

I know what you mean, I'm terrible for keeping up with mates. I just always remember them when I can't do anything about it, like when I'm in the car or something....
