I spent the afternoon watching My Name is Earl and working on thesis revisions. I had never watched that show before, but really like it after watching the first DVD from season 1.
I really love Baltimore. I went down to JHU to use their library today and remembered how much I like being in the city. There's nothing in particular I can point to and say, "this is why I like the city," I just feel comfortable there. I'll miss the city when I finish my PhD and try to move to farmland in the country; I just won't miss anything at all about the Baltimore-Washington suburbs.
