Bullshit

Take a bunch of attractive people and put them in jobs they'd typically not be able achieve, portray them in positions they'd never be able to achieve in such a short span of time, place them in apartments and houses that they'd never be able to afford, and what do you get?

American children that will hate themselves and never be satisfied unless they've achieved the impossible--an illusion created by those selling a life which does not exist. When did we stop enjoying the small things?

Recently I was with spending time with my mom when a storm rolled in and the electricity went out. We had lots of fun watching the rain and wind blow the trees while we teased the dogs who thought the condo was being besieged when she lamented that my sister would have been bitching the entire time because her show was no longer available due to the storm. That made me sad.

I think of my cousins who never knew a time when the internet did not exist. We all need constant contact with everyone, and when we don't get it we become agitated. It's curious I suppose. No judgment here, just thought. I prefer it quiet. I don't like phones ringing. I don't like lots of noise. I've never understood those people who have their earphones in constantly listening to music. When do their brains get a break? Silence is my escape.

However, I love being able to contact my friends on here when I need you.

I suppose it all comes back to the Tao--balance.

Too much for one post, goodnight guys, but don't forget to watch Germany tomorrow!

*...sometimes I forget, now I know.*

I struggle just to enjoy the small things sometimes. I think I need more silence than I get, too.
